Organisational commitment, work engagement and job performance: empirical study on Nigeria's public healthcare system

Currently, nurses’ job performance in Nigeria’s public healthcare system has been called into question and is under more pressure due to global COVID-19 pandemic In order enhance the effectiveness, efficiency promptness of service delivery, this study seeks explore how work engagement could play a key role explaining influence organisational commitment on A survey based questionnaire, using simple random technique was employed collecting data from 406 nurses hospitals Kaduna State The were analysed employing partial least squares-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) Results demonstrate that affective normative wield positive significant effects performance, while significantly mediates commitment, relationships Consequently, recommends management policymakers should improve through Copyright © 2021 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd
